About Me

Hair Restoration Specialist

Dr Taher Rasool completed his medical degree in 2005 after which he completed his internship and community service. He has worked at various hospitals including Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital, Grey’s Hospital gaining experience in Plastic and General Surgery, Trauma and Emergency Medicine.

Dr Rasool has completed various post graduate training in Aesthetic Medicine and Surgical Skills at Nelson Mandela School of Medicine.

Dr Rasool has studied extensively, trained and been mentored by Medical Hair Restoration surgeons, not one but two. Under the guidance and knowledge of the MHR Team he has developed both his skills levels and knowledge in the various techniques and treatments in the field of hair restoration.

He has now brought the same level of expertise and knowledge back with him to Durban where hair restoration surgery is much needed. Dr Rasool continues to strive in the field of hair restoration surgery and pushing innovation in treatment of hair loss.
